I have led more than 150 sailing voyages across some of the world’s most remarkable cruising grounds. For several years, I worked as a professional skipper on charter yachts, welcoming as many as 200 guests aboard each season. This experience taught me that every crew is unique, and that a truly memorable voyage is about much more than sailing alone.

My approach is to create the right balance between time under sail, exploring picturesque harbours and hidden anchorages, relaxing on beautiful beaches, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and discovering authentic local cuisine. Years of cruising have also allowed me to build a collection of favourite restaurants and hidden gems that rarely appear in guidebooks.

Because, in the end, the perfect sailing holiday is a seamless blend of exceptional sailing, unforgettable destinations, and memorable experiences ashore.

Working as a skipper aboard privately owned yachts has given me a unique perspective on the highest standards of yacht management and guest service. When the owner is on board with family or friends, every detail matters and everything must be flawless. When the owner is away, the yacht must remain in impeccable condition and ready to sail at a moment’s notice—because the next call can come at any time.

Over the years, I have sailed across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, completing both private voyages and professional yacht deliveries. These passages have strengthened my seamanship, adaptability, and ability to operate safely and confidently in a wide range of conditions.

Beyond sailing, I am passionate about the ocean in every sense. I enjoy both freediving and scuba diving, and whenever I am ashore, you’ll often find me exploring on two wheels or wandering through the places where the sea has taken me. Every voyage is an opportunity to discover something new.

For me, no passage is complete without a good book, and no sundowner is quite right without a fine rum from the Caribbean—although, in recent years, I’ve developed a particular appreciation for the outstanding rums of Réunion Island.
